Kamado Grille, the newest restaurant experience in Raleigh, NC, is teaming up with Stop Hunger Now in the fight against hunger. 125 Kamado Grille team members will package more than 17,000 meals for the world’s hungry on April 22, 2015 at 832 Springfield Commons Drive, Raleigh, NC 27609 (corner of Spring Forest Road and Falls of Neuse Road) at 2:00 PM. Stop Hunger Now meal packaging events are a volunteer-based program that coordinates the streamlined packaging of highly nutritious dehydrated meals comprised of rice, soy, vegetables and 23 essential vitamins and minerals.
“I am a firm believer in abundant giving and helped create Kamado Grille to be able to give back more,” says Joe Dunn, co-founder of Kamado Grille. “We have been blessed with so much and we should utilize our God-given talents, skills and abilities to give more to others.” Kamado Grille co-founder, Tom Allen, added, “Stop Hunger Now has made me aware of the need throughout the world to end hunger and we have devoted our philanthropic efforts toward Stop Hunger Now to truly make a difference.
