Empowering communities to define and lead their own development through agriculture, livelihoods, and resilience building
True transformation begins when communities are empowered to define and lead their own development. We believe sustainable food security comes from strengthening the economic foundation of vulnerable communities — empowering people to feed themselves through improved agricultural practices, diversified livelihoods, and economic self-sufficiency.
We work directly with farmers, women's groups, and rural communities to build skills, create opportunities, and strengthen local food systems. Our programs promote climate-smart agriculture, market linkages, livestock and fish production, and income generation — from traditional crafts to women-led poultry enterprises — ensuring communities can sustain themselves long after our direct intervention ends.
By empowering communities economically, we're not just addressing hunger today — we're preventing it tomorrow. This approach creates dignity, self-reliance, and hope for a better future.

Supporting 350 tribal families in Dhar District, Madhya Pradesh with goat rearing — 10 women trained as Pashu Sakhis (barefoot veterinarians) to provide local livestock care
Providing indigenous communities with a reliable source of protein-rich food and additional income through trained, sustainable poultry farming with veterinary skilling support
Farmers across 5 villages in Jirang Block, Ri-Bhoi district, Meghalaya growing pineapple, plantains and other fruits to diversify crops and boost household income
Empowering 320 Bonda tribal women through sustainable enterprise — market-aligned traditional arts and crafts, value addition of non-timber forest products, and collective selling through producer organizations
Tackling soil degradation and water scarcity through sustainable farming practices — vegetable production, pond digging for irrigation, and orchard development for smallholder farmers
Building climate resilience in rainfed areas through community-managed rainwater harvesting ponds, second-season cropping, micro-irrigation, and crop diversification with less water-intensive legumes
Connecting rural households to vital government welfare schemes — Ayushman Bharat, E-Shram, Ration Cards, Old Age Pensions, and Fasal Bima Yojana — strengthening social equity and economic resilience
Our film "Harvest of Hope" captures the journey of rural communities transforming their lives through sustainable agriculture, livelihood generation, and collective action.
