Functional Summary:

As the Manager of Corporate Partnerships, the incumbent will play a pivotal role in fostering relationships with corporate entities, driving donor engagement, and ensuring seamless collaboration between our organization and our valued partners. This position’s efforts in mobilizing corporate support are critical in delivering the mission of the organization and creating positive change in the community.

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

Partnership Development and Management:

Existing Partnerships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with current corporate partners.
Expand Partnerships: Strategically grow the corporate donor base, emphasizing meal packaging programs and other impactful initiatives. Identify and pursue opportunities to meet our strategic goals.
Integration and Collaboration: Oversee the seamless integration of partnerships into our operations.
Collaborate with Volunteer Engagement Team: Work closely with the Volunteer Engagement team to drive special campaigns and maximize donor engagement.

Stewardship & Accountability:

Financial Accountability: Ensure meticulous accounting of all corporate funds received. Coordinate with the Finance team to promptly acknowledge donations and issue receipts.
Responsive Communication: Send timely project updates and program impact reports to corporate donors. Address donor queries in a timely manner. Escalate unresolved issues to the management team for prompt resolution.
Follow-Up on Outstanding Payments: Proactively follow up with donors and sponsors to ensure timely payment.

Enhanced Partnership Experience:

Feedback Management: Actively solicit feedback, insights & advice from corporate partners and make necessary improvements in the engagement process to enhance partnership experience.
Donor recognition and appreciation: Lead initiatives to recognize donors acknowledging their support for the hunger action efforts of Rise Against Hunger India
Regular Communication: Keep donors informed about Rise Against Hunger India’s activities, maintaining an open channel for further engagement and contributions.
Tracking Donor Engagement: Constantly update donor database & track engagement, prepare & submit corporate engagement reports, take steps to reengage with donors who were previously associated but have become inactive. Cultivate efforts to bring them back into the fold.

Qualifications and skills:
Education: Master’s degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
Experience of volunteer management, personal volunteering, cause championship
Communication and Presentation skills: ability to prepare convincing and persuasive messages/appeals and make concise and to-the-point presentations.
Research skills: skilled in spotting potential donors/funders and supporters.

Competencies:
Analytical and critical thinking: critically analyzing trends & opportunities and adjusting efforts.
Versatility: Willingness to step in and organize corporate events (meal packaging and other CSR events).
Organizational Agility: Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
Flexibility: Adaptability to varying work schedules.
