- Act as the main contact between the organization and donors/funders.
- Organize periodic meetings with departments to identify resource needs and opportunities.
- Ensure timely submission of compliance documents and complete due diligence with donors.
- Monitor and manage grant-related paperwork and documentation.
- Facilitate the proposal development process, coordinating with program teams or external writers.
- Ensure proposals meet all legal, compliance, and programmatic requirements specified by donors.
- Research and identify authentic funding opportunities aligned with the organization’s mission and values.
- Keep informed about funding trends, priorities, and submission processes of grant-making agencies.
- Develop and maintain a central information management system with up-to-date organizational data.
- Ensure readiness of accurate statutory, financial, and programmatic information for potential funders.
- Track progress of submitted proposals and follow up as required.
- Coordinate with relevant units to gather updates on grant progress and ensure timely submission of financial and programmatic reports.
- Review budgetary plans with the finance department to meet donor requirements.
- Work with finance to send invoices, fund release requests, and other necessary information to donors.
- Provide orientation to implementation units on approved grant commitments and reporting requirements.
- Ensure proper utilization of funds through field visits and reviews.
- Provide regular updates on grant mobilization and implementation to Management and the Board.
- Education: Master’s degree in development management, Business Administration or a related field is required. A master’s degree or additional certifications in grant writing or management is a plus.
- Experience: At least 5 years of experience with a proven track record in grant management & implementation, donor liaison and reporting. Demonstrated experience on proposal writing and presentation to external donors/funder
- Skills: Strong writing, research, and communication skills. Proficiency in using grant management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
